We all have to find our path for ourselves.

No matter to which religion we belong, we need to experience the truths of their teachings within our own life to truly have faith.

Many religious books or teachers will tell you things that may ring true within you, but they do not take hold until we have our own encounter with their meaning.

No matter how many people tell you that honey is sweet, this will never compare to actually putting it on your tongue.

You must obey your own code, even if you would like to follow the code of a specific tradion, you must follow your own until that tradition becomes one with your own.

People are so different

People are so different it’s a wonder we can all get along. When I was younger I used to be confused as to why everyone didn’t like the same things I did, because it felt like that had to be the only way to think, how could someone not come to the same conclusion as me?

The older I get the more I realize that people are so different, you could go as far as to say they live in their own dimensions, their own little world, and very rarely do we truly get a glimpse into another’s mind.

We’re all out their hacking our way through the underbrush of life, trying to find our path, or we’ve been hackin away for so long we forget the reason and just learn to enjoy the act of wielding that machete.

Opening up to strangers when you don’t get any selfish reward is something to be cultivated. It brings humanity closer together, helps people relate and see just how many worlds there are out there. It is something that is desperately needed in this time when people are zoning out, checking out, isolating themselves in so many ways, with technology to drugs, to whatever you name it.
